He has performed more than 15000 coronary artery procedures (coronary angiography and angioplasty) with more than 95% of the procedures being done through the transradial route. He is the first to perform coronary angiography and angioplasty through distal radial route at Apollo Hospital New Delhi.

Dr. Arif wahab has considerable experience in academics and Clinical Research. He was part of the landmark MiD trial and has contributed extensively in peer reviewed journals. He has more than 20 national and international publications in various journals to his credit and has also contributed many chapters in various cardiology textbooks.
